Former soap opera star Samuel acts out a scene with the judges which prompts a slap from Jennifer Lopez, while Maddy and Rayvon Owen show star quality.

AceShowbiz - "American Idol" season 14 is close to wrapping up its auditions. For the last stop, the judges came to San Francisco where there were some weird and great auditions. The first to perform was Katharine Skitter who said she's auditioning because her 19-year-old psychic kitty cat told her to.

She also claimed to have partied with David Bowie in the '70s and he gave her a fur coat that she was wearing. The 15-year-old girl sang Florence and the Machine's "Shake It Out" and despite her wackiness, she earned a spot in Hollywood. "You're talented, but you're crazy," Jennifer Lopez told her.

Andrew Bloom, who is friends with silver medal-winning Olympic sprinter Ryan Bailey, sang Alex Clare's "Too Close" and earned a Golden Ticket. Harry Connick Jr. also challenged him to a race across the audition room.

Samuel Prince, a former soap opera star, asked the judges to act out a sketch and J.Lo pretended to slap him in the scene. His singing skill, however, wasn't that impressive and he didn't pass.

Rayvon Owen shared a sad story about how tough his childhood was as his family was poor. He sang "Wide Awake" by Katy Perry and gave J.Lo "gooooosies." His voice is so great and he has star quality. The judges sent him to Hollywood.

Maddy Hudson also stood out during the auditions. The 16-year-old, who said she was bullied in middle school, has every "Ingredient" to be a superstar, according to Harry. The judges declared her a frontrunner.

Erika David, Chandler Leighton, Ryan Pinkston, Kellyeann Rogers and Reno Anoa'I are among other singing hopefuls who got Golden Tickets in the episode.
