The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker wants young people to take away 'the kind of embarrassment or guilt that people feel attached to sex.'

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus shared her opinion about unprotected sex in a new interview with E! News on Friday, January 23. Miley was asked about her opinion on young people who believed it's fine to have unprotected sex.

"I think that most of it is just having the conversation and taking away the kind of embarrassment or guilt that people feel attached to sex," the "Party in the U.S.A." singer said, "Because that's something actually important in the community center that we're kind of focused on, also is making it just an open conversation."

Earlier on the day, Miley paid a visit to the LGBT Center's Youth Center in Los Angeles to meet homeless youth and to learn more about HIV prevention. "One of coolest things about LGBT center that I visited today was that you walk in and there's a bowl of condom right there and you don't have to ask, you know, it's just an open conversation," she shared.

"So, I think the way sex has been made to be seen as bad or guilty, I think it's just opening up that conversation that's saying if you're doing it, protect yourself," the former "Hannah Montana" star continued, "And I think young people need to be talking."
