AceShowbiz - Jackie Chan has spoken up after his son Jaycee was indicted on drug charge. On Wednesday, December 23, China's official news agency Xinhua reported that the "Rush Hour 3" actor said he felt ashamed of Jaycee's drug abuse and hoped that one day his son would talk about the danger of using drugs.

Chan, who served as a goodwill spokesperson for the China National Anti-Drug Committee in 2009, added that he never used his connection to get his son out.

Jaycee was arrested in his apartment in Beijing in August alongside Taiwanese movie actor Kai Ko. The two were tested positive for marijuana and admitted to using the drug. Some amount of marijuana was also found in the apartment. Ko was released 14 days after the arrest.

On December 22, prosecutors decided to charge Jaycee with providing a shelter for others to use drugs. If convicted, Jaycee may face up to three years in jail.
