The first 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' movie set for 2016 will be followed with a sequel in 2018 and a third entry in 2020.

AceShowbiz - Warner Bros. officially announces the making of a new movie trilogy based on "Harry Potter" side story "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". The studio reveals in a press release that the second and third movie will arrive in 2018 and 2020 respectively, after the first one hits theaters on November 18, 2016.
Marking Rowling's screenwriting debut, the spinoff is set in an extension of her familiar wizarding world, featuring magical creatures and characters inspired by Harry Potter's Hogwarts textbook and its fictitious author, Newt Scamander. David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter movies, is set to sit behind the lens.
No cast has been announced as Rowling is still working on the script. "Very busy at the moment working on a novel, tweaking a screenplay and being involved in @lumos campaigns. Back when I've finished something!" she recently tweeted.
