AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande helped kick off the 40th season of "Saturday Night Live" on Saturday night, September 27. The singer performed a couple of tracks from her newest album "My Everything" and she even brought out a special guest to help her sing one of the songs.
Grande opened her two-song set with "Break Free". Donning a black crop-top, matching shorts, a pair of knee-high socks and cat ears, she first appeared atop a piano and sang a stripped-down intro to the Zedd-produced hit. Mid-song, she sped it up as she joined several dancers onstage.
Later that night, Grande returned to deliver the first live rendition of "Love Me Harder". Wearing another black crop-top paired with a skirt, the former Nickelodeon star brought out The Weeknd who's featured on the song.
"My Everything" marks Grande's second studio effort. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 following its release last summer.
During her appearance on that night's "Saturday Night Live", the 21-year-old diva also joined host Chris Pratt for a skit.
