AceShowbiz - "Ted" sequel has successfully nabbed Morgan Freeman, the actor's rep confirms. The veteran actor will play a civil rights lawyer who shows up when Ted needs to resolve some legal issues.

"Ted 2" already began production in Boston, Massachusetts with many of the original cast on board. Mark Wahlberg was recently spotted filming a scene with "Flash Gordon" legend Sam J. Jones who made an extended cameo in the first movie. Wahlberg showed off his muscles in white vest as he rode a Flash Gordon motorbike which has a big bow on top.

Seth MacFarlane is back as scriptwriter and the voice of the vulgar teddy bear. "Seth comes from television and he's written God knows how many Family Guys and he's getting better and Ted was his first movie and it was a learning experience for him and he's really excited about getting back in there," Wahlberg told Digital Spy.

MacFarlane previously said that he would like a major star to play a fun character in the movie. Several other A-list actors are also expected to make cameos in the R-rated comedy. Amanda Seyfried was cast as the female lead, replacing Mila Kunis who will have a reduced role in the sequel. "Ted 2" hits U.S. theaters June 26, 2015.
