'Family Guy' Spares 'Weeds' an Emmy Jab
August 25, 2009 10:08:07In a series of rant against its fellow Primetime Emmy Awards nominees, "Family Guy" has decided to exclude "Weeds". For five days in a row last week, the animated show had been pointing out the weaknesses of shows like "The Office", "How I Met Your Mother" and "30 Rock" but it stopped for three days before finally releasing the one for "Weeds".
Kicked off like the rest with the scene of Brian getting out of the shower, the "Weeds" footage sees Stewie asking the dog of which show will get his Emmy vote. When Brian said he is thinking about Showtime's series "Weeds", Stewie twirls his drink and says "Oh f**k this. I'm not doing one with f**king weeds."

August 22, 2009 11:08:14The latest two viral Emmy campaigns from "Family Guy" have been released. This time, creator Seth MacFarlane takes a jab at "30 Rock" and "How I Met Your Mother" that become the animated series' rivals at winning the Best Comedy title at the September gala of Primetime Emmy Awards.
In the "30 Rock" viral, Stewie expresses his disappointment of Brian planning to vote for the NBC comedy, saying "Really you like that guy with sayings on his head, the hat guy?" Stewie is referring to "30 Rock" character Frank who has many caps with writings like "Ninja Expert". While beating Brian, Stewie said "I don't wanna watch an extra Kenneth scene on the Internet". But the baby ended it with "It'd probably win though."

This time Stewie said, "Am I supposed to care about a guy who has everything?" when Brian the Dog said that he was thinking about voting the HBO show as the winner of Best Comedy at 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
While beating Brian to bleed, Stewie yelled "Hug this out, Bitch!". He refers to Ari Gold's catchphrase in the first season when he asked Vince's manager Eric Murphy whether or not he wants to hug it out in order to resolve the dispute. After done with his beating, Stewie left Brian and said, "It's 'Sex and the City' with men."

'Family Guy' Creator: Baby Stewie Is Gay
August 14, 2009 09:08:03There's a big reason why Stewie was so determined to conquer the world and kill his mother Lois on "Family Guy". The secret lies within the 1-year-old baby's sexual orientation, which creator Seth MacFarlane finally outed. "We had an episode that went all the way to the script phase in which Stewie does come out," MacFarlane who also gives voice to the character said.
In the September issue of Playboy, MacFarlane explained that there is a script where Stewie was harassed by the kids at school so he went back through time to "prevent a passage in Leviticius from being written: 'Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind. It is an abomination'. " The script was terminated though because it won't make sense.
