'There have been little things that have happened that make me realize we're near the end,' said star Theo Rossi at the red carpet premiere for the final season.

AceShowbiz - "Sons of Anarchy" cast recently celebrated the upcoming premiere of the seventh and final season of the show at a red carpet event. Speaking at the party held in Hollywood on Saturday night, September 6, star Theo Rossi said they had not come to grips with the fact that the show's over.

"We're still in the middle of it," said the Juice depicter, as the show is currently shooting episode nine. "I think in December, when it's stops airing, that's when I'll realize it's over. But there have been little things that have happened that make me realize we're near the end."

Reflecting on how the critically-acclaimed series affected his life, Rossi said, "My entire life has changed. I've become a different person, a better actor. I've learned to produce, being surrounded by people like [showrunner] Kurt [Sutter] and [executive producer] Paris Barclay. I've become a better human being, gotten involved with seven or eight charities."

Lead actor Charlie Hunnam echoed his sentiment, sharing to The Hollywood Reporter, "The first season for me was a total write-off in terms of acting because I was completely consumed with trying to do the accent, which I'd never done before. It really contained me and controlled me so that I wasn't free to make the moves I wanted to make as an actor. By midway through season two, I think I got that under control."

Meanwhile, Katey Sagal who plays Jax's (Hunnam) mother said, "I also feel in denial that it's ending. You know, I was weeping a little bit last night about it." She attended the event with husband and showrunner Kurt Sutter who explained that cost was a major factor that led to the show's cancellation. "Quite honestly, after seven seasons, because of all the factors, it becomes very expensive to produce," he revealed.

The final season of "Sons of Anarchy" kicks off Tuesday, September 9 at 10 P.M. on FX with a 90-minute episode. Lea Michele, Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson and Walton Goggins, who also attended the red carpet premiere, are among guest stars in the season.
