News anchor Megyn Kelly has given birth to her third child. Fox announced on Friday, July 26, that Megyn delivered her baby boy on Tuesday. The news anchor and her husband Douglas Brunt named the bundle of joy Thatcher Bray Brunt.
Megyn shared a picture of her newborn son via "America Live". "We just got details about Megyn Kelly's big baby news," Megyn's co-worker Shannon Bream said before showing the baby's picture.
"Here is the picture. Say hello to Thatcher Bray Brunt. Megyn and Doug's third child was born at...8 pounds, 2 ounces. He has brown hair, blue eyes. He is gorgeous. Mom says the best description of him, and this is a quote, 'Totally awesome.' Mom and Dad are thrilled, and so is Thatcher's big brother Yates and his big sister Yardley ," Shannon narrated.
Megyn "is doing great. We're told she is doing fabulous. Everyone is well," Shannon added. Megyn will be back to the network in September after she finishes her maternity leave. Megyn will be on primetime news instead of afternoon slot starting from that month.
"Megyn is an exceptional talent who has successfully filled and surpassed each role we have given her at the network. Her ability to command the screen, delve into the facts and lead a debate is what makes her one of the most sought-after anchors in the business," Fox News CEO Roger Ailes said in a statement earlier this month.
