In an episode of her SiriusXM podcast, the former host of 'Megyn Kelly Today' weighs in on Savannah's COVID-19 diagnosis that forced her to leave the morning talk show early.

AceShowbiz - Megyn Kelly showed no sympathy for her former colleague Savannah Guthrie, who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week. In the Tuesday, February 28 episode of her SiriusXM podcast, Megyn weighed in on Savannah's COVID-19 bout that forced her to leave "Today" early.

"This is reportedly Savannah's third bout of COVID and I guarantee you she's had all the vaccines and the boosters because you won't be able to go into 30 Rock without them," Megyn pointed out. "There's zero chance NBC is not requiring all boosters."

The former host of "Megyn Kelly Today" went on to say, "All of it is such a perfect indication of how the left - and especially the left in New York - continues to live." The host was also shocked to find out that there are still people who test for COVID-19, asking, "I mean, at this point, seriously? … is anyone still even testing for COVID?"

"It's amazing to me. These guys are leftists and it's amazing to me to see how the leftists still live under the grip of COVID," she added. "I don't test for COVID anymore. Who's testing for COVID still?"

Kelly then jokingly predicted that "Today" weatherman Al Roker would wear a protective mask on-air. "I got dollars to donuts that [Al] Roker's there with an N95 tomorrow all day on set," she quipped.

During the Tuesday episode of "Today", Savannah left early after receiving results of a positive COVID-19 test. Fellow anchor Sheinelle Jones announced during the show's 8 A.M. hour, "By the way, it has been an interesting morning for us. As we said, Savannah left early, she wasn't feeling great, so she took a COVID test. It came back positive."

Sheinelle continued, "So, as soon as we found out, she rushed home to rest up. So Savannah, we love you, wishing you a speedy recovery."
