AceShowbiz - USA Network may keep the "Burn Notice" fire alive even after the show drops its curtain. Stars Bruce Campbell and Coby Bell have spilled the beans that there's a talk about a possible spin-off centering on their characters, Sam Axe and Jesse Porter respectively.
"I've been talking to USA. They have a bunch of stuff they want to talk to me about," Campbell tells TV Guide, refusing to divulge the details. Bell, however, dishes further, "It's definitely something Bruce and I would both be into. It makes sense. It's just a matter of lining things up."
Creator Matt Nix is also up for it, saying, "I would love to do it." Even if it does not make it into a new series, he thinks "Sam and Jesse certainly merit a TV movie." He continues gushing, "That would be terrific fun."
"Burn Notice" premiered its shortened seventh and final season on June 6. The show airs Thursdays at 9/8c on USA Network. The Jeffrey Donovan-starring series as well as Matthew Bomer's "White Collar" recently landed syndication deal on Ion.
