Official: 'Burn Notice' Is Canceled After Seven Seasons
May 11, 2013 10:05:09It's official; the upcoming seventh season of "Burn Notice" will be the last for the show. USA Network announced on Friday that it put an end to the action drama series, which will premiere its shortened seventh and now final season this summer starting June 6.
"Burn Notice has had an incredible run over the last six years, and we could not be more proud of the extraordinary talent both in front of and behind the cameras who have collectively made this show into one of the most popular and lauded shows on TV today," said Chris McCumber, USA Network co-president.

'Burn Notice' Gets Shorter Season 7, Jeffrey Donovan Says It Could Be the Last
November 08, 2012 09:11:55Long-running series "Burn Notice" will stay on USA Network for another season. The cable network has ordered 13 episodes for a seventh season of the Jeffrey Donovan-starring show, bringing the action drama show to 100 episodes in total.
"Burn Notice is like a fine wine that gets better with age," USA Network co-presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel say in a statement when announcing the renewal. "Delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the mid-season finale, this veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio."

New Promos of 'Burn Notice' Season 6: Michael Has to Fight a Little More for Fiona
May 26, 2012 12:05:54Two new promos for "Burn Notice" season 6 have made their way out online via The Hollywood Reporter before they debut on small screen this weekend. Both of the videos focus on Michael's desperation after Fiona got into a jail, but one of them has more new footage.
Featuring a tagline reads, "The stakes are higher than ever," the snippet shows Sam giving a pep talk to Michael, who declares that he won't give up on the woman he loves. A threat and a trap are coming in Michael and Sam's ways as they get into actions.

'Burn Notice' Season 6 Promo: What Will Michael Do to Get Fiona Back?

A newly released teaser for the upcoming sixth season of the show highlights the season 5 finale cliffhanger and stresses that the new chapter will see Michael trying to get Fiona back.
The ultimate episode of the fifth season, which aired Thursday, December 15, ended with [SPOILER ALERT!] Fiona surrendering herself to authorities. Sharing her thought on her character's move, Gabrielle Anwar believed "it was inevitable." She reasoned, "I think it was the only choice that Fiona has. Otherwise Michael, Jeffrey [Donovan]'s character, is going to be strung along by Anson indefinitely."

Fall Premiere Dates of USA's 'Burn Notice', 'Covert Affairs' and More
August 23, 2011 11:08:34USA Network has set premiere dates for its series that will return this fall, led by the sixth season premiere of "Psych". The drama comedy series will debut its new season that consists of nine episodes on October 12 at 10 P.M.
In November, two other series will return with second part of their current season. "Covert Affairs" will be back with the remaining six episodes of its sophomore season on Tuesday, November 1 at 10 P.M., while "Burn Notice" will resume airing the fifth season on Thursday, November 3 at 10 P.M.

'Burn Notice' Explosion Ends Up in Lawsuit
June 19, 2010 09:06:00"Burn Notice" becomes a literal meaning when the production company behind the successful USA Network is sued for explosion. Property manager of Park Square Commercial F1 has filed a lawsuit on Wednesday, June 16 in Florida court to ask for a sum of money to repair the damage caused by a "big explosion" in the show.
Park Square noted that the made-explosion caused property damage such as chips, smoke stain and lingering damage to walls and floors. The property and TVM Prods initially agreed on term that the property in Miami-Dade, Fla. is to be returned in the pre-use condition. Thus, the contract between the two parties has been violated.

Containing a brief summary of what happened when the show stopped airing in August, the new promo says that Michael will get a lot of trouble when his only link to Intelligence Agency is dead and his biggest foe wants to toy around with him.
The first episode, called "A Dark Road", will be airing on January 21. A widow whose husband died during a fake insurance scam begs Fiona for help getting her husband's dangerous associates away from her and her son.
