The singers join other performers including Ed Sheeran and Serena Ryder to deliver dazzling performances at this year's Canadian awards-giving show.
PSY, Demi Lovato and Avril Lavigne were among other performers who hit the stage at the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday, June 16. South Korean Rapper PSY, who also served as a host at the event, appeared on the stage in a white sequined tuxedo vest and sunglasses as he led the crowd to sing and dance to his hit, "Gangnam Style".
"Let me see you bounce, Canada!" he told the crowd and asked them to follow his dance instead of taking pictures of him. He said, "Stop taking pictures and bounce!" PSY kept the crowd entertained as he danced energetically to Beyonce Knowles' "Single Ladies".
That night was the last time PSY performed his another hit, "Gentleman". "It's gonna be the official final performance of #Gentleman on TV," he tweeted on Sunday, June 16. "I can't say I've been the best BUT I CAN say I've done my BEST!" #MMVA."
Lovato delivered stunning performances at the Canadian annual music awards. Clad in sexy black leather top, the 20-year-old singer took the stage to sing her two hit singles, "Give Your Heart a Break" and "Heart Attack".
Lavigne sang her latest single, "Here's to Never Growing Up". The singer, who came to the event with fiance Chad Kroeger, showed up on the stage in all-black outfit and sang about refusing being a grown-up in front of fans who waved their hands as they sang along to the song.
Other performances were delivered by Ed Sheeran, who sang "Lego House", and Serena Ryder who performed a medley of her hits, "Stompa" and "What I Wouldn't Do".
