The 'Party in the U.S.A' singer tops the 2013 list, while Manti's non-existent girlfriend lands on the 69th position, beating other celebrities such as Zooey Deschanel and Emma Roberts.
Maxim has announced celebrities who land on this year's Hot 100 list. The magazine confirms that Miley Cyrus is number one on the 2013 list, while "Spring Breakers" star Selena Gomez tails Miley's position on the second place. "Diamonds" singer Rihanna grabs the third position.
Miley gave a word on her win. "It feels amazing to be No. 1, especially because it was voted on by the fans. I have the best fans in the world! It's every woman's fantasy to be told she's No.1 on Maxim's Hot 100! So crazy!" she said. The excited Miley had taken to Twitter on May 3 to tell her fans that she would be on the list as well as to thank them for their support. "Dreams do come true," she wrote.
Also making it into the Top 10 are "Oz: The Great and Powerful" actress Mila Kunis, "Silver Linings Playbook" star Jennifer Lawrence and pretty veterinarian in "Garfield" Jennifer Love Hewitt, who earn number 4, 5 and 6 respectively. Ashley Tisdale is in number 7, while Kate Upton nabs the 8th spot. Number 9 and 10 positions are snatched by Vanessa Hudgens and Elisha Cuthbert respectively.
Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend Lennay Kekua surprisingly makes an appearance on the annual list. She is on number 69, defeating celebrities, including Emma Roberts who is on number 76, Ashley Benson who gets number 82 and Zooey Deschanel on 92nd place.
The bio provided by the magazine reads, "After Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend hoax of 2012, we think it might be nice to have an invisible girl of our own to love. Why not? She's got a ton of great qualities, including looking awesome in a bikini." Maxim puts a picture of black bikini with the background of a tropical place as the picture of the imaginary girlfriend.
Manti was deeply attached to Lennay whom he met for the first time online. The girl was a Leukemia patient and became Manti's inspiration. They kept talking on the phone when she received treatment, until she died. The football player grabbed the headlines after learning that Lennay was not real and he was a victim of a sick joke.
