Fans of Lil Wayne who have been waiting for the rapper's latest mixtape "Dedication 4" must now wait a little longer before the record finally comes out. The New Orleans rhymer has decided to delay the release of his new mixtape to respect 2 Chainz who released his new album "Based on a T.R.U. Story" on August 14, shortly before Wayne's mixtape was supposed to be unleashed.

"I know I was supposed to drop that Dedication 4 tonight [August 15] - but listen, my homeboy 2 Chainz just dropped his album yesterday," the Cash Money artist says in a video, which is released via Bread Over Bed, following his show in New York along with Nicki Minaj.

He goes on, "That's my real, real, real good homeboy right there and I refuse to put any attention on me when the spotlight, everybody's eyes, everybody's attention and everybody's focus should be on my n***a 2 Chainz's album 'Based On A T.R.U. Story'."

"So therefore I ain't giving you b*****s 'Dedication 4' yet," he adds. " I'ma give it to ya'll in another week or so. But I ain't gonna lie, I ain't finished that motherf***er. I've been skating and s***, falling and s*** and all that type of s***, but I'll give it to you like, next week. Stop trippin' pimp."

As he decides to push back "Dedication 4", Wayne debuts the first offering from the mixtape. The track is called "No Lie", which is a remix of 2 Chainz's Drake-assisted song off his newly-released album. "I am sippin' on that lean/don't bring me no bottles h**/I make it rain so hard, flowers grow/Hollygrove," so he spits in the intro.

Wayne and 2 Chainz have been good friends since the latter was still in Playaz Circle. The two previously collaborated in Playaz Circle's single "Duffle Bag Boy" and performed together on MTV2's "Unplugged" in 2011. Wayne also makes cameo in the intro for 2 Chainz's "T.R.U. Story" song called "Yuck".
