Teen pop superstar Justin Bieber employed a futuristic theme for his performance at this year's Teen Choice Awards. Metallic and electronic elements were seen all throughout his performance.
He started off stylishly descending a short flight of stairs as he walked away from what appeared to be an electrified wall. He opened his set with his recent smash, "Boyfriend", as a few android-looking dancers backed him up with some smooth moves.
He then broke into his new single "As Long As You Love Me". Fans screamed as the platform the Biebs was standing on slowly rose as he and his dancers popped and locked. Rapper Big Sean also made an appearance in the already-stunning performance.
In true pop star fashion, his performance ended with a bang as pyrotechnics went off above the stage. "Thank you so much to all my fans," he said after the performance while trying to catch his breath. "I just want to say this album has meant the world to me, and I hope that it was everything you guys waited for. This is just a reminder to everyone in here: Believe," he added.
The Canadian sensation already had 8 Teen Choice Awards under his belt prior to this year's ceremony. He added four more awards to his collection, Choice Male Artist, Choice Male Music Star of the Summer, Choice Male Fashion Icon, and Choice Single by a Male Artist for "Boyfriend".
