Selena Gomez, Zooey Deschanel, Hayden Panettiere and Nina Dobrev, meanwhile, brighten up the pink carpet with their vibrant numbers.

A number of big stars glittered the pink carpet rolled out for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Los Angeles. Taylor Swift was white hot, Demi Lovato stole attention with her high ponytail tied with a leather band, and Lea Michele simmered in a silver frock.

Swift rocked a Maria Lucia Hohan dress, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, Prada Shoes, and an Edie Parker clutch. Lovato donned a multi-textured Aztec print dress by Falguni & Shane Peacock, while Michele stepped out in a figure-hugging Versace strapless dress and Stephen Webster jewels.

Selena Gomez, Zooey Deschanel and Hayden Panettiere brought more colors with their vibrant looks. Gomez lighted up the event with her pink Dsquared2 minidress, Deschanel looked lovely in a blue Monique Lhuillier number, and Panettiere strutted down the pink carpet in a pink metallic dress.

Other beauties spotted at the event included Nina Dobrev in a teal dress which was split up in one side, Jordin Sparks in a halterneck minidress with plump skirt, Nikki Reed in a plunging number, and Kylie & Kendall Jenner in their maroon and black super-short outfits respectively.

In male department, Justin Bieber showed up in an camouflaged tee and white pants, Ian Somerhalder was casual in a t-shirt and denims, Chord Overstreet opted for a leather jacket on top of his t-shirt, and Kevin McHale wore a black and white button-down.

2012 Teen Choice Awards was hosted by Lovato and McHale. "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I" and "The Avengers" led the nominations with 11 nods each. Bieber, "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Hunger Games" followed with eight.

Bieber was set to perform along with Flo Rida, Carly Rae Jepsen and No Doubt. Serving as a house DJ was DJ Pauly D, and taking the stage as presenters were the likes of Gomez, Sparks, Lucy Hale and Victoria Justice.
