The 13-year-old son of rapper/actor Will Smith is seen rocking an all-black attire while standing in what looks like a jungle on the sci-fi film's set in Costa Rica.
Jaden Smith looks all grown up while posing in a futuristic costume on the set of "After Earth". In a photo posted on Jaden's Facebook page, the 13-year-old son of Will Smith is seen donning an all-black space suit while standing in what looks like a jungle.
Last week, Will has also posted several pictures of himself and Jaden on the film's set in Costa Rica. The previous images didn't reveal too many hints from the upcoming sci-fi film since none of Will and Jaden were featured donning full costume.
Previously titled "1000 A.E.", "After Earth" is set 1.000 years into the future. It revolves around a young boy who navigates an abandoned and sometimes scary Earth to save himself and his estranged father after their ship crashes. Will and Jaden tackle the roles of the father and son.
The adventure movie is slated for a June 7, 2013 release in theaters across the U.S. Serving as the helmer is M. Night Shyamalan, who also provides the script along with Gary Whitta and Stephen Gaghan. Joining Will and Jaden in the cast ensemble are Zoe Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo and Isabelle Fuhrman.
Shyamalan has recently opened up that he will film "After Earth" in a high-resolution digital format and claimed that the movie will not be shot in 3D. He reasoned, "3D creates an expectation in the audience. The style of this film is quiet and eerie. The scale should creep up on you."
