Visibly upset about New England Patriots' loss at Sunday's game, the supermodel made a comment about who should be blamed.
After consoling her husband Tom Brady for his team's loss at the Sunday's Super Bowl game, Gisele Bundchen dissed his teammates. The supermodel was caught on camera lambasting the other guys in New England Patriots when Giants fans taunted Brady for the defeat.
In a video obtained by The Insider, some people can be heard yelling "Eli rules" and "Eli owns your husband" as she walked through the Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Bundchen, who has been supportive of her husband pre-game and was clearly distraught after the game, wanted to make it clear who was to blame for Patriots' loss.
"You [need] to catch the ball when you're supposed to catch the ball," she is heard as saying. "My husband cannot [expletive] throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."
Bundchen did not name names, but it's likely that she directed the comment toward either wide receiver Wes Welker who made the drop in fourth quarter, or tight end Aaron Hernandez who failed to catch once. Brady himself is not blaming Welker, saying in a press release after the game, "[Welker] went up to try and make it, as he always does, and we just couldn't connect."
