The promo video for the upcoming horror movie sees Olsen's Sarah being driven into paranoia as she feels terrorized while visiting a lakeside summerhouse.
The first trailer for horror film "Silent House" has been debuted. Coming out via Yahoo! Movies, the sneak-peek video features plenty of intense and goose-bumping scenes involving lead actress Elizabeth Olsen who plays Sarah.
Sarah returns with her father and uncle to fix up the family's longtime summerhouse after it was violated by squatters in the off-season. When they work in the dark, the young woman begins to hear sounds from within the walls of the boarded-up building. Although she barely remembers the place, she senses the past may still haunt the house.
Based on true events, "Silent House" is directed by Chris Kentis along with Laura Lau, who also serves as the co-writer and co-producer. Joining Olsen in the cast ensemble are Adam Trese, Eric Sheffer Stevens, Julia Taylor Ross, Haley Murphy and Adam Barnett. The supernatural movie is slated for a March 9 release in theaters across the U.S.
