Michael Buble embraces the joy of Christmas in a music video which supports his holiday single "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town". The Canadian singer walks down the pavement on a snowy night while singing and doing silly dance. Every once in a while, he greets some friendly passersby.
"Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" is re-recorded for his latest holiday compilation "Christmas" which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 200. Unlike fellow Canadian Justin Bieber who remixes the classic yuletide into poppy tune, he revamps it into a jazzy number.
Both of the singers have been tapped to perform at the same concert, "Christmas in Rockefeller Center", along with Faith Hill, Carole King, Tony Bennett, Cee-Lo Green, Katharine McPhee and "The Voice" winner Javier Colon. The event will air on NBC on November 30.
Bieber is additionally invited to NBC's "A Michael Buble Christmas" along with Kellie Pickler. "I'm truly excited to be sharing my favorite time of year with millions of people," Buble says. "Doing this Christmas special is a long-time dream of mine." The gig will broadcast on December 6.
