While one clip gives a look at the argument between Jake Lonergan and Colonel Woodrow Dolarhyde, the second one shows Ella being chased by a spaceship.
The first two clips from forthcoming fantasy film "Cowboys and Aliens" have just been unveiled. One of them gives a look at Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) and Colonel Woodrow Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford) discussing about an alien attack in town. However, the talks end up with the two beating each other.
The second clip, meanwhile, captures the footage where Ella (Olivia Wilde) rides on a horse with Lonergan on an open field. The twosome is involved in a battle with a flying spaceship which tries to capture them. During the fight, Ella gets caught before Lonergan jumps on the flying object to save her.
In addition to those two clips, a new featurette of this film has also been dropped. It showcases some behind-the-scene moments and commentary from Craig, Ford, Wilde, producer Ron Howard, and director Jon Favreau among others.
Set in 1873 against the backdrop of Arizona territory, "Cowboys and Aliens" tells the story about Lonergan, a loner gunslinger who has no memory of his past and is left with a mysterious shackle around his wrist. Entering the desert town of Absolution, he realizes that he's an infamous criminal that has been wanted by many people. However, he turns to be a hero who helps the town when they are attacked by aliens. Along with other cowboys and Indians, he fights to form a resistance against the aliens.
Joining Craig, Ford and Wilde in the cast ensemble are Sam Rockwell, Noah Ringer, Paul Dano, Abigail Spencer, Keith Carradine and Adam Beach. Written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof, the movie is set to hit U.S. theaters on July 29.
