'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' will be debuted in 3-D and IMAX-equipped cinemas on June 28, while the film will open wide across the United States on June 29.
"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" will open one day earlier in 3-D and IMAX-equipped theaters across the United States. While the forthcoming flick is scheduled to open wide Stateside on June 29, fans can watch the film earlier in those selected cinemas on June 28, starting 9 P.M. local time.
On a press release, Rob Moore, Paramount's Vice Chairman, claimed that this sci-fi movie will "undoubtedly be among the most entertaining movie going experiences" during this summer. He further detailed, "Providing fans an opportunity to see it early in 3-D is a great way to kick off the movie's opening."
Earlier on June 17, a new video from the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" sequel has landed online. With Linkin Park's "Iridescent" serving as the background music, the sneak-peek offers new footage, including when Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have to save their lives by hiding behind a wall, barely seen by a robot.
"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" revolves around a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia which involves the Autobots and Decepticons. As the chaos erupts, human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends once again. Shia reprises his role as Sam, with Rosie playing Carly, Sam's new love interest. Other supporting actors include Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Patrick Dempsey and Ken Jeong.
