Lady GaGa performed "You and I" on "American Idol" result show on Thursday night, May 12. Instead of performing live, the Mother Monster who served as a guest mentor this week appeared through a footage taken from one of her Monster Ball concerts.
The footage was opened with James Durbin, Haley Reinhart, Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery sitting on the couch. The four of them played the DVD, watching GaGa belting out the ballad track while playing a piano. She wore only black bra and underwear.
California native James was eliminated that night, leaving Haley, Lauren and Scotty as the Top 3 contestants. During the elimination night, the 22-year-old rock singer got emotional even before host Ryan Seacrest announced who's going home.

I think she sings very well and I happen to know what the hell I am talking about professionally. If you don't like her, don't buy her stuff.
I don't see what all the hype is about. How many of you have seen Black Swan and have Victoria's Secret catalogs lying around the house? Throw in a little light-version Jerry Lee Lewis and that is what I saw here. Would you be happier if Carrie Underwood sang it in a dress of flowing white with a gold cross around her neck only to follow it up with how to key somebody's car? Hypocrites. Don't get me wrong, I like Carrie Underwood...but you people do not judge all persons equally. It might be time to start.
