New Image of 'Amazing Spider-Man' Features Dr. Curt Connor

The picture offers the first look at Rhys Ifans, who portrays the villainous character, wearing a green sock on his right hand during the filming for the sci-fi film.

Fresh images from "The Amazing Spider-Man" emerge. One of the pictures gives the first look at Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connor. He is seen wearing a green sock on his right palm, suggesting that visual effect experts will either chop it off or replace it with the special-effect onset of his alter ego.

Other photos see Andrew Garfield and Martin Sheen, who take the role of Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man and Ben Parker respectively. Director Marc Webb was also snapped on the set.

Daily Mail additionally has got its hand on new set photos for the forthcoming film. One picture sees Emma Stone standing in the rain. Some other images also offer a look at Stone and Garfield who share the same scenes.

Serving as the "Spider-Man" reboot, "The Amazing Spider-Man" revolves around Peter Parker who is grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises. Sally Field, Denis Leary, Irrfan Khan, and Annie Parisse are among other stars supporting the film. The movie will make its way out on July 3, 2012.
