'The Informers' Goes to L.A. for Premiere
April 17, 2009 04:04:35Senator Entertainment's drama thriller "The Informers" has got a red carpet treatment on Thursday, April 16 for its Los Angeles premiere. Taking place at ArcLight Theater, the special screening event was attended by two of its prominent stars, Academy Award-nominated actor Mickey Rourke and award-winning actress Kim Basinger.
In addition to both of them, cast members, Austin Nichols, Jon Foster, Jessica Stroup, Lou Taylor Pucci and Rhys Ifans, as well as director Gregor Jordan were also present for the special occasion. Meanwhile, the celebrity guests spotted on the evening included "Step Up 2 the Streets" beauty Briana Evigan, music composer Christopher Young, TV personality Katie Price and Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat.
Rhys Ifans Confirms Involvement With 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'
March 28, 2009 01:03:12Coming to Jonathan Ross' Friday night show on BBC to talk about his upcoming film "The Boat That Rocked", Rhys Ifans ended up revealing his involvement in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". The 40-year-old actor confirmed that he has been cast in the adaptation of "Harry Potter" seventh book.
During his appearance on the TV show, Ifans told Ross that a couple of weeks ago while he was filming "Mr. Nice" in Spain, he has been fitted for his costume in the latest installment of the "Harry Potter" series. While the Robert Reston of "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" did not mention which part he will be starring as, The Leaky Cauldron reported that he will be taking the role of Xenophilius "Xeno" Lovegood, who is known to be Luna Lovegood's father and the editor-in-chief of The Quibbler.

Per report on the Daily Mail, Sienna and Rhys have been planning to hire a private beach resort for a week on the island of Isla Mujeres, eight miles off the coast of Cancun, Mexico. The private resort, which has a large ten bedroom villa, boat ramp and several guest houses, is believed to be owned by Sienna's close pal whom she met on set of a recent film.

In the Richard Curtis-directed film, the BAFTA-nominated actor will be joined by Kenneth Branagh and January Jones. Branagh will portray another deejay for the radio show, while Jones depicts an American woman who visits the boat used for the show and finds herself to be in love with Ifans' character.
