Robert Pattinson has supported "Water for Elephants" world premiere on Sunday, April 17. At the event, held at Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City, the depicter of Jacob Jankowski donned his dashing dark gray suit.
After spending time posing and taking pictures with fans, Robert talked to MTV News about the premiere. Asked about how the premiere different from "Twilight" premieres, Rob said with a laugh, "Well, not that different." He added, "They weren't very scream-y. They were very nice fans."
During the occasion, Robert also admitted that he had to run away from his "Breaking Dawn" filming. "It was a mad rush to get here," so he said. As three people took him away from the set, Robert said that the crew pled, "Come on, we need, like, one more shot!"
Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz were among other cast members hitting the red carpet. Reese came in her gorgeous dress by Jason Wu. At the same time, Christoph attended the premiere in his black suit.
Gina Gershon, Julia Stiles, and Donna Scott were among celebrity guests at the event. In the meantime, Sara Gruen, who wrote the novel from which the film was adapted, was present as well.
Kristen Stewart was also allegedly coming to the event. Make-up artist Beau Nelson tweeted, "Just did Kristen Stewart for the Water For Elephants Premier. She looks stunning in J. Mendel with a dark burgundy lip!"
"Water for Elephants" is a drama movie directed by Francis Lawrence. The PG-13-rated film, which will grace U.S. theaters on April 22, tells a story of Jacob Jankowski, a veterinary student who is put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie. He later falls in love with Marlena Rosenbluth, who is married to the charismatic yet dangerous animal trainer, August.
