Justin Bieber to Publish Memoir in October

The 16-year-old singer has signed a deal with HarperCollins to publish an illustrated memoir entitled 'Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story' in October.

AceShowbiz - After having his fans singing along with him, Justin Bieber is now hoping to make his fans read. Although he is still 16, the YouTube sensation has recently announced that he will publish his memoirs entitled "Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story", ABC News reported.

Bieber has signed a deal with HarperCollins which will publish the illustrated memoir. The tome, which is said will include "exclusive never-before-seen photos" as well as a "story", is due in stores in October. The hardcover book will be sold for $21.99.

In a statement released by the publisher on Monday, August 2, Bieber said, "Every day I wake up and count my blessings. My fans have played such a large part in all of this and they help me live my dreams every day. I'm excited to share just a little bit more of my world with them through this book."

Other stars who have also been working on memoirs include David Archuleta, R. Kelly and Chely Wright. Archuleta's book, called "Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song and the Power of Perseverance", was published on June 1. While Kelly will released his tome in 2011, Wright had her "Like Me" hit shelves on May 4.
