The first clip for "The Switch" has made its way out via Yahoo! Movies. During a meal, Jennifer Aniston's Kassie drops the bomb to her best friend Jason Bateman's Wally, telling him that she is going to have a baby through artificial insemination. As she needs a semen donor, Kassie asks his help to find one.

Kassie's plans go awry when Wally switches someone's semen with his own during a drunk night. After seven years passed, Wally finally finds out that Kassie's son carries his blood because the boy has a neurotic problem similar to him. Now, he is determined to be a good father for his child without telling Kassie the truth, while he also falls for her.

"The Switch" comes from the people behind "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Juno" with Josh Gordon and Will Speck serving as directors. Allan Loeb writes the screenplay of the romantic comedy which is due August 20 in the U.S.

The real difference is that Juno and Little Miss Sunshire were good movies, while this movie looks awful. The whole premise is the guy switches the girl's sperm with his own and never tells her about until yrs after she's had the child. Sorry, that's gross and insulting. If this happened in real life, the man would be in jail. The fact that he ends up living happily ever after with the victim is just wrong and gross. Sounds like a horrible idea and they are trying really hard to make the movie appear much better than it is by linking it with two successful comedies.

Actually, the movie is being distributed by Mandate films....who distributed Juno. The writers, director and producers of Juno HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS FILM!!! FALSE ADVERTISING!!

And thus they are the ones who brought you Little Miss Sunshine and Juno. Michelle, stop getting your info from the LA Times blog. They are notoriously for their Aniston bashing.

Wrong Michelle - three of the producers on this picture were involved with either Juno or Little Miss Sunshine.
