July 01, 2008 03:07:18Less than two days before "Hancock" starts screening in the theaters across the U.S., Columbia Pictures have rolled down red carpet in Hollywood. In celebration to the Los Angeles premiere of the forthcoming action movie, the special first screening event was held on Monday, June 30 at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre and it was made merrier with a uniquely designed red carpet.
Giving a memorable night, the premiere saw many Hollywood stars strolling down the red carpet which is designed with broken down cars tumbled on top of each other and an emergency service ambulance along its side. Among the cast and crew making special appearance were director Peter Berg, Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman.

Constructing a promising cast lineup, Jason Bateman and Allison Janney have both given their agreement to take part in Mandate Picture's coming-of-age flick "Juno", set to be released under Fox Searchlight Pictures banner.
Joining the likes of Ellen Page, Jennifer Garner, and Michael Cera, Bateman will portray an emotionally stunted husband of Garner's character while Janney is plotted to play the stepmother of the titular character, played by Page. Meanwhile, Cera has already been billed as Juno's loyal best friend.

Finding each other being gathered up again in one screen after "Smokin' Aces", Peter Berg and Jason Bateman are set to star together once more in "White Jazz", the sequel to the 1997 "L.A Confidential", the film's director Joe Carnahan told Rope of Silicon.
A Warner Independent Pictures production, the picture is based on James Ellroy's novel of the same title which revolves around the daily work of Lieutenant David "Dave" Klein and his involvement with the dark side of the L.A.P.D. Oscar-winning actor George Clooney has already been billed to play the character.

Sure constructing a real high-profile cast, Columbia Pictures' superhero drama "Tonight, He Comes" has successfully added Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron into its cast, Production Weekly has reported.
Accompanying Will Smith in the lineup, Bateman is billed as a corporate public relations consultant who revamps the image of Smith's character in his effort to repay the hero for rescuing him. Meanwhile, Theron will play Bateman's alluring wife whom the hero is secretly romancing.
