Chris Brown Says Michael Jackson Tribute at BET Saved His Career

Ray J came forward, hugging Chris Brown when the recipient of Fandemonium Award couldn't stop crying backstage after finishing a tribute to the late King of Pop.

Words are, Chris Brown continued sobbing after exiting from the stage of the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on June 27 night. The R&B singer reportedly was comforted by his pal Ray J backstage following an emotional tribute to Michael Jackson earlier that Sunday night.

"This night saved my life, and my career. Thank you for everything," the 21-year-old singer reportedly told Ray. Additionally, a source told Hollywood Life that he "seemed both relieved and elated to finally have his career back on track" after experiencing backlash due to his altercation with Rihanna last year.

Chris Brown took home one award that night. He was handed BET first ever Fandemonium Award, beating Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and Trey Songz. "I let you all down before, but I won't do it again, I promise," he said upon accepting the trophy.

God is about to unleash some blessings in chris browns life that he is not going to have room enough to recieve. Get ready chris! And for those who judged him, God seen it all so he will take care of them. Let he who is with sin cast the first stone, and none of us are without sin so no one had no right to judge that y…oung man, now look at God working his situation out right infront of our eyes. You go Jesus! And for the people posting bad comments about chris, take a look back over your life and remember the things you ever did wrong, and ask yourself didnt i want forgiveness for this? Alright then, what if you did something and people would never forgive you nomatter what you did? Yes i understand his tears, i think the song ment more to him than we could ever imagine,it was personal to him, and he couldnt hold it in. I mean come on i even get emotional when listening to MJ songs, because they have real life meaning to them, and they really speak to you, unlike alot of these artist today, MJ songs were about life and feelings, and they were deep songs, and i think chris saw his situation and just burst out in tears. His tears had nothing to do with publicity stunt, get over yourselves people, none of us are perfect, and none of us have the right to judge anything or anyone because we all have done wrong.

Chris Brown is a great performer and he has a right to his career I felt him from his soul when he tried to sing man in the mirror. I truly believe that the song along with being asked to do MJ tribute was alot and after all Chris had to look at the man in the mirror. So I say to everyone he was a young man who made a mistake and he should be allowed to have his career. Chris Brown hold your head up and keep asking God for your steps and he will direct your path.

I agree with Nekeya on everything that was writin, God is in charge he makes all things happen all you gotta do is have faith and believe. I always knew Chris Brown would come back, he's a sweetheart who made a mistake and has learned from that mistake and he showed the world he was remorsful and his humbleness. he also showed his appreciation for being accepted back into the music industry. you know everybody missed him, he won the fandamonium award Hello!
