It is now coming to an understanding why Mr. Donald Trump has a high hope for Bret Michaels to attend the live finale of "The Celebrity Apprentice". The rocker who was in hospital for brain hemorrhage last month is in the final two, battling the title and money for charity against Holly Robinson Peete.
As soon as Trump fired Cyndi Lauper, the remaining contestants were called back to the boardroom to be trimmed. The businessman fired three more people, Maria Kanellis, Sharon Osbourne and Curtis Stone. Maria for making inappropriate comment about Curtis, Sharon for not having what it takes to be in the final and Curtis for not passing Joan Rivers and Bill Rancic's interview.
Bret, hearing the happy news that he's in the finals, said, "I came in here as a complete underdog. You know what everyone's mistake was? They so underestimated me!" The Poison rocker is playing for American Diabetes Association since he himself was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes while a child.
The finale will be held on Sunday, May 23. "We really hope that Bret is well and able to join us at the finale," Trump said previously. "I have much respect as he is a fighter and strong competitor."
