In addition to a bunch of dates in other cities in England, Gorillaz will visit London for the first time in years since their hiatus in 2005. The rock band will stop by the capital's Roundhouse for two nights in a row starting April 29. The last time they were in town was when they performed as part of Demon Days Live at Manchester Opera House five years ago.

Gorillaz will be supporting their latest release, "Plastic Beach" but at the venue, they are not the sole performer. Beside the man behind the virtual band, Damon Albarn, there will also be the likes of The Clash's Mick Jones and Paul Simonon, Mos Def, Gruff Rhys, Shaun Ryder, Bobby Womack, The National Orchestra for Arabic Music, Bashy, De La Soul, Kano and Little Dragon.

Tickets are on sale March 26 at 9 A.M. GMT for 45 pounds. For members of Gorillaz fans club, there is pre-sale on March 23 at 7.30 A.M. GMT. Jamie Hewlett will provide the animation and artwork for the concert.

Gorillaz kicked off a string of small venue gigs in England on Sunday, March 21. A day before they took the stage, member Murdoc posted a message, saying "It's wonderful that our super Gorillaz tunes are providing work for this collection of scallywags and reprobates. These gigs have got my stamp of approval - which is a little pentagram that i brand on each of the players. Painful, but they're not allowed on stage without it..."

"And those set to receive such treatment are: Mike Smith - Keyboards; Jesse Hackett - Keyboards; Paul Simonon - Bass; Cass Browne - Drums; Damon Albarn - Guitar, Piano, Vocals; Gabriel Wallace - Drums; Geoff Wotton - Guitar; Mick Jones - Rhythm Guitar."
