After performing at a New Year's Eve concert, Mariah Carey will start 'Angels Advocate' tour on January 2.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey has announced a number of dates for a roadshow supporting her latest studio album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel". Two days after a live concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on New Year's Eve, she will kick off the tour at The Borgata in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Mariah will be supported by RydazNrtist, a new R&B group signed to her husband Nick Cannon's NCredible Entertainment. After finishing at least eighteen concerts across North America, she will resume the gig on February 27 at The Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This traveling show becomes Mariah's first major outing since "The Adventures of Mimi: The Voice, The Hits, The Tour" was held in October 2006. Tickets for most of the dates will go on sale on December 19.

"Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" was released in September this year. Led by single "Obsessed", the album debuted at No. 3 on Billboard Hot 200 with 168,000 units in its first week on sale.

On another news, Mariah Carey's song "We Belong Together" was announced by Billboard as the most popular song of the decade. Taken from her multi-platinum hit album "The Emancipation of Mimi", it won two Grammy awards in 2006 and received nominations for Record and Song of the Year.
