AceShowbiz - After having singer Kelly Rowland as his leading lady in "Baby by Me" music video, 50 Cent appoints actress Vivica A. Fox as his love interest in "Do You Think About Me". Their parts have been previewed through several pictures taken during the video shoot with the rapper captured holding Vivica's hands and hugging her in a dimmed room.
On what the song deals with, Fiddy told MTV, "I was writing about the difference of how it felt when it was only about money once it got down to me dealing with the child-support situation." He continued, "The friendship we had was forgotten. I believe people invest in each other and it's never even when you're in a relationship -- one person is loving harder than the other."
"When the expectations aren't being met, they kinda resent the other party. A lot of times they don't go from being boyfriend and girlfriend or to getting engaged or being married back to being friends. They kinda gotta part ways from each other because one still has feelings and one is ready to move on."
"Do You Think About Me" is set to appear in Fiddy's November 16 release "Before I Self Destruct". The on-set picture of its accompanying video can be seen on 50 Cent's blog, ThisIs50.
Last week on November 13, 50 Cent unveiled his duet track with Beanie Sigel. At the end of the song, he fired fellow rapper Jay-Z saying, "You changed man / You let the money change you Jay / You used to be from Marcy ... now you's a pass the Grey Poupon ass n**** / You don't want the shooter ... I'll take him."
