David Archuleta's first Christmas effort 'Christmas from the Heart', which will be released on October 13, gets a cover art.

An artwork which will be featured on the front cover of 's upcoming Christmas set "Christmas from the Heart" has been unveiled. Set to be put out for U.S. purchase on October 13, the album has been made available for pre-order on digital retails.

"Christmas from the Heart" is David's second studio album and first Christmas effort. This record will include "Joy to the World" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas" among other Christmas favorite tunes. Featured guest in the album is YouTube singing sensation .

Beside prepping to release a Christmas set, David Archuleta is also working on a pop effort to follow up his self-titled album "". The runner-up of "" season 7 has started recording session for the album last summer while he was touring with . There haven't been any working title and release date announced for this album.

I can't wait to hear David's Christmas album. He has the most PERFECT voice for Christmas songs! I'm also anxious to hear his next pop album cuz the first one is full of GREAT songs! It's one of my favorites!!

Cannot wait for this cd...will no doubt be the best Christmas Album ever; David's cut out to sing this stuff amazingly! Love the cover...So glad he wears the "signature" scarf. Love the title too...it is perfect for him...as everything he sings is so much from the heart.

I love the album cover; it is simple, elegant, classy, natural, peaceful; like David! I already pre-ordered and I'm buying more copies for my family and friends on October 13th!! I can't wait. David Archuleta is simply the best!
