Watch how the relationship between Rachel McAdams' Clare and Eric Bana's Henry blooms through four freshly-released clips from the Robert Schwentke-directed romantic drama.
A series of brand new clips from "The Time Traveler's Wife" have made their way out for viewing pleasure. Four in total, the snippets like the previously-released trailer focus on the growing romantic relationship between its leading characters, Rachel McAdams' Clare Abshire and Eric Bana's Henry DeTamble.
Clare trying to convince Henry to have a date with her, Henry buying her million dollars-winning lottery tickets and Henry proposing to her are three of the newly-outed clips. The last snippet, meanwhile, sees Clare's friend, Gomez, telling her not to marry Henry, providing her with a fact that he thinks Clare should know.
Picking up the theme that love knows no boundaries and transcends time and death, "The Time Traveler's Wife" follows Clare and Henry as they get into a passionate love affair. Having known Henry since she was six years old, Clare learns from the very beginning that Henry is a time traveler and waits for the right time to build a romantic relationship with him.
But, marrying Henry isn't as easy as it looks since he often disappears for long periods of time and thus complications are bound to follow. Based on Audrey Niffenegger's 2003 novel, this romantic drama is directed by Robert Schwentke and supported by Ron Livingston as Gomez among others. New Line Cinema is targeting to release it in U.S. theaters August 14.
