Mariah Carey's New Single to Come Out in Mid June

Mariah Carey's first single from forthcoming album 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' is titled 'Obsessed' and will surface this month.

Mariah Carey's brand new single will arrive in radios across America on June 16, it is confirmed on her Twitter. Titled "Obsessed", the song is produced by The-Dream and Christopher "Tricky" Stewart. It will serve as the lead single from her upcoming studio album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel".

"The 1st single from my new album 'Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel' is called 'Obsessed' and will be at radio next Tuesday," Mariah tweets. "Seriously, this is one of my favorite songs ever. I love the whole album. I'm completely immersed in it. I can't wait for you to hear it. LY"

"So 'Obsessed' is an uptempo fun summer record. We were gonna go w/the ballad 1st but don't worry,its coming. I tried to make something(cont) ... For all who love 'Butterfly', and even older albums, but 'Obsessed' has to come out 1st, asap!! Its different for me,but clearly,its SO me!"

Mariah Carey is expected to drop "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" in mid September. Earlier this year, she has confirmed that Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland will also make contributions to the new record.
