16 years old actress-singer Miley Cyrus has been picked by MTV as one of the Best-Dressed Female stars at 2009 MTV Movie Awards, which was held on Sunday evening, May 31, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. The Disney star hit the red carpet of the star-studded event wearing a Moschino Cheap and Chic nude silk cowl neck halter dress with a back ruffle. She finished off her look with Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth and James jewels.
MTV praised Miley's fashion choice and fresh make-up. She was said to be able to display "a dash of class" that made her look "streamlined." MTV went on writing, "Her chunky silver accessories and turquoise nail polish, however, were totally fun and age-appropriate. Same can be said for the origami-trimmed back, which added some flair."
Ashley Greene, who attended the annual awards show wearing a black and white floral print cocktail dress by Dolce & Gabbana, was also named among Best-Dressed Females. The "Twilight" actress, as said by MTV, "seemed to channel her big-screen identity Alice Cullen with a style that was so put together, it was practically supernatural." Pairing her dress with purple platforms and a neon clutch, Ashley "looked like she came straight out of the 1940s. Special shout-out to her hair and make-up people for giving her adorable pin-curled hair and perfectly pouty red lips," MTV added.
In addition to them both, MTV's list of Best-Dressed Females at this year's MTV Movie Awards also named the likes of Sienna Miller, Leighton Meester, and Malin Akerman. Full description of their fashion styles can be read on MTV.

Is Ashley Greene engaged? She was wearing a ginormous claw-shaped engagement ring at Comic Con. Screen shots (including one of Kristen Stewart admiring her “engagement ring”) are on the celebsession blog..can't post the link here. The ring was switched to her middle finger in later shots… what gives?!
ashley greene looks hot all the time.. i kinda didnt like the hair.. but miley looks ridiculous. i mean the dress looks like a table cloth wrapped arounnd her and her hair looks as if she came from the gym.
