'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' Footage From ShoWest 2009

Here comes 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' clip shown at the 2009 ShoWest, featuring crying Bumblebee and a montage of giant robots to be seen in the action film.

AceShowbiz - Director Michael Bay has put forth the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" footage which was previewed at 2009 ShoWest via MichaelBay.com. The video lasts for more than two minutes and presents a clip of crying Bumblebee and an extended montage of never-before-seen robots in action footage from this "Transformers" sequel, giving a better look at Devastator.

The video begins with Shia LaBeouf's Sam Witwicky and Megan Fox's Mikaela Banes making their way into Sam's parents' garage and seeing Bumblebee is still dealing with his voice problem. Sam then breaks the news that he is going to the college alone, making the transforming robot to spray water from his head as if he was crying. In the meantime, Mikaela goes out of the garage and rushes to take off her clothes to give Sam a nice surprise.

Soon after Sam walks out the garage and notices Mikaela's surprise, a sequence of rapid changing snippet featuring most of the giant robots to be seen in the movie takes over. This montage of action scenes brings forward many never-before-seen and heart-pumping footage, in which a first good look at Devastator is shared.

Continuing the story of two robot clans' battle, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" will find Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes under attack by Decepticons due to Sam's knowledge over the origins of the Transformers and their ancient history on Earth. While the baddies try to capture Sam to acquire the knowledge, U.S. military and an international coalition unite with Autobots to fight back the villains' attack.

Teaming up once again Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, the action movie also sees the return of Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro, and the joining of Isabel Lucas, Rainn Wilson and many others. Written by Ehren Kruger, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, it will come out in the U.S. big screen on June 24.

UPDATE 04/21: On Monday, April 20, director Michael Bay has noted on his Shoot for the Edit forum that the ShoWest footage for "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" has been pulled down. Explaining on the matter, he wrote that the piece was intended to be "just a 12-hour thing". He furthermore wrote, "I just wanted the fans to get a taste of what we have been making for a year and a half because we have been so quiet." On the post, the filmmaker also revealed that the trailer "is being printed" and will come out with "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" on May 1 and with "Star Trek" on May 8.
