Demi Lovato is interested in making music for "The Twilight Saga's New Moon". In an interview with MTV News, the Mitchie Torres of "Camp Rock" revealed that she would love to be a part of "Twilight" sequel's soundtrack. "I think it'd be cool to be in the soundtrack," so she said at the world premiere of "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience" on Tuesday, February 24.
Expressing more of her hope, Lovato added, "Maybe, but ... it's like anything that would happen that'd be awesome. I don't know if I'd make a good vampire or a good werewolf." On the occasion, the star of "Sonny With A Chance" also dished that she would love to pen a love song for Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner's characters. "Edward Cullen - I would write a love song to him," she fessed up. "Or Jacob Black!"
Demi Lovato isn't the only Disney star wishing to be a part of the highly anticipated vampire drama. Earlier, Jonas Brothers have shared their interest in crafting new songs for the Chris Weitz-directed film. "The movie ['Twilight'] was obviously a huge success, and if they asked us to be a part of [the sequel], that would be great," Nick Jonas told MTV News earlier of the matter.
Having been involved in the entertainment biz since her early age, Demi Lovato made her big break when landing a leading role in Disney's original movie "Camp Rock" alongside Jonas Brothers. She will be next be seen in "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience" and another Disney's original movie "Princess Protection Program". Aside from acting, she has been a successful solo artist with her debut album "Don't Forget" securing the second slot on the Billboard 200.

demi lovato sounds just like paramore, so it wont be much of a difference. but i think her new song 'everything your not' would fit in when jacob starts liking her.
Who is Demi Lavato anyway? Everyone says she's from Disney,but i don't watch or listen to Disney. But with whatever songs they choose for the movie I just hope they make the right one. But honestly I don't care about the music. I care about what matters,the movie.So while you guys fight over who should or should not be on the soundtrack,I will be having fun! Take care guys!!! :P
They only wanna be on the soundtrack and its not like they're gonna be in the movie. Sheeesh calm that ass down! If the directors listened to all you peoples demands im sure the movie wouldn't have been such a success it was/is...so stfu and enjoy the show:)
just my opinion this is a free country, i would suggest that the song of Demi Lovato called "Until You're Mine" wil fit in Twilight saga "New Moon". Listen to the song and analize the lyrics you'll figure it out. This will be good when Edward leaves Bella.
Paramore must be on the new moon soundtrack not Demi Lovato!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually think that Demi would write a good song for New Moon. Her lyrics can be some what dark and would probably fit in with New Moon.

The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato would make the movie completely worthless. They would ruin it beyond repair like any Disney band would. And they have NO RIGHT tainting a movie that would ordinarily be the highlight of 2009. If either band -- if you can even call them that -- gets asked to be on the soundtrack, then it will completely ruin the entire series for me. Chris Weitz is an utter moron if he lets them set foot any near this movie.
I think that Demi should have some song but the Jonas Bother NO I read this book and they don't fit in sorry
I totally agree with "?" on March 8th. I am a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers, but, they just don't fit into Twilight, they'd ruin it. And, Demi Lovato, BLAH! I don't like her at all, so that would be even worse.
Disney Stars are very good in what they do. I have to agree with that. They are happy and peppy to give a good influence on the younger minors that watch the channel. But for twilight, I think that they should stay away from the music. If you ever checked Stephenie Meyer's website playlist, you'll see that no Disney songs are on it. Disney songs are catchy and only last for some time. Bands like Muse, Paramore, All American Rejects, and more are more fit for the movie.
When I first heard that the Jonas Brothers where interested in being on the soundtrack, I wasn't sure, but Demi is a much more promising choice. You people who say she isn't "moody" enough obviously don't know anything about her, and shouldn't be allowed to say such things!! She had to get the Jonas Brothers to help her write songs for her album because she was too dark for Disney! If you don't believe me, go check out her darker songs, like Shadow, or Trash, then, once your educated, you can make a decision.
this would ruin the movie, this movie is deep and emontional and i dont think some disney channel kid could reach the standard of rob patt and kristen stewart and paramore etc... this would take the mysterious dark deep feeling from the movie when the soundtrack plays . i dont think any disneys stars should be in the movies or soundtrack like vanessa hudgens. leah clearwater is deep and moody and i dont think vanessa could lead that role. i have been a fan of stephanie meyer for a long time, read all the twilight books. this is just a joke, be serious!!! i think that dakota will be amazing as jane as she has worked with big stars and knows how to play the part of evil mind controlling jane but vanessa has a back ground just like demi at being in disney films were everything is happy and cheerful while this movie isnt it has loads of emotional parts!!!! i hope the producers at summit entertainment understand the consquences this could have with the ratings and the amount of fans they could lose :(

Just because there is some heartache and loss in the movie does not mean that the whole movie and sag "requires a dark mood" and that is what, "neither the Jonas brothers or Demi Lavato portray" how do you know what they can portray just because of what they have portrayed? I am so happy there is positive love for people like Demi Lovato on this site, because with all this hate it would be a very sad place.

I don't know why they feel that it would work for this kind of movie. I mean I'm not dissing these Disney stars that want to be part of the saga, I'm just saying that the genre of the Twilight movies require a kind of Dark mood and sound that neither the Jonas brothers or Demi Lavato portray.
Demi is an amazingly talented singer and actress, and 'New Moon" and the "Twilight Saga" would be lucky to get her in any capacity! I personally feel she has the perfect look for Leah, and she is 1000 times better for that role than Vanessa Hudgens, or Brendan Song, those two would be terrible. Demi is a huge fan of the series, and unlike everyone else that is clambering for a role in the series, would not just want to be in it/write for the soundtrack because its the "hottest thing" and will make them the most money/help their career, she really loves the books and the movie! I think that everyone needs to relax every time we hear an article about a Disney person involved with the franchise; we need to have faith in the casting directors. This same thing happened when they announced the cast for the first film, back in November of 2007 with Kristen, then is December with Rob and finally in January when the rest of the cast was announced. Everyone was, "oh my god they are going to ruin the movie, and this is the worst person they could have picked!" Now these same people are going, "oh these people are the best actors; I am like Rob and Kristen's biggest fan, ever!" Seriously shut up until you see the movie, then you can judge!
