AceShowbiz - From 147 hopefuls that received the golden ticket to Hollywood, it was down to 104 before further narrowed down to 75. The first Hollywood Week of "American Idol" on Tuesday, February 3 cut 43 contestants while the second one that aired the next night, chopped 29.
The second night in Hollywood was still about group performances and a portion of the episode was focused on the emotional rundown from the contestants. Spotted eliminated from the second round was Katrina "Bikini Girl" Darrell, son of Osmond brothers, David Osmond, and the dreadlocked singer Rose Flack who was in the same singing group with Katrina.
Others losing the chance to be an American Idol are Deanna Brown, Nancy Wilson, Austin Sisneros, and Emily Wynn-Hughes, the latest who vowed to leave her band should she make it through. Meanwhile, among those staying in competition are teammates oil rig worker Jeremy Michael Sarver and Adam Lambert, Matt Giraud and Kris Allen as well as Alex Krugman and Ann Marie.
These 75 people will further be filtered next Tuesday, February 10 in Hollywood Round part 3. The Top 36 will be announced the next day on the final Hollywood round.
