CBS is expected to have more episodes of the series which bring 'The Mentalist' season 1 into the total of 22 episodes.

The hit CBS's new series, "The Mentalist", gets a green light to be aired on the network for full season. The Patrick Jane drama is requested for more episodes after EW exclusively reported that CBS orders six more additional scripts of the police drama story.

The show which focuses completely on the character and the intelligence of Jane has quickly become one of the most outstanding CBS shows. First debuting on September 23, 2008, it had an audience of 15.6 million viewers and 7.8 million in a re-airing three days later, which made it as fall season's best success stories.

The Golden Globe Award nominee, Simon Baker, plays as Patrick Jane, a crime solver in the series who has a remarkable track record for solving serious crimes by using his quick intelligence observation skills. The pilot episode introduced Jane's past, indicating his wife and daughter had been murdered five years before the story goes.

i transfered from heros to the mentalist and i am happy to say that it is 100 million times better. the mentalist has a great cast and i can't wait for season 2!!

Jane is great but Lisbon is also amazing... I love teh chemistry between them

I adore this show. I cannot wait for the next season!!! PLEASE! Me and all my friend's have been watching it together we love how great Simon Baker play's out Jane and are excited to find out more about RED JOHN! If we never find out it will haunt us forever!

Simon Baker has made JANE an interesting character. He doesn't over act and audiences can feel the pain inside him. He is the only one that holds the show.

love the show always interesting to see PATRICKS preception of the situation and besides...HE'S HOT !!!!
