50 Cent believes that he can follow on Lil Wayne's recent success and get his upcoming solo album's sale reaching the 1 million mark on its first week release. According to MTV, 50 is very confident that his new record, "Before I Self Destruct" could reprise what Wayne's "Tha Carter III" did.

Moreover, speaking to MTV although the rapper hasn't announced an exact date yet, he did confirm that his upcoming record will be released on the fourth quarter of this year. Confirming his new LP's release schedule, 50 said, "Fourth quarter. I got some music. But I'mma make music until I reach a closing date. I'mma stay creative and continue to try and progress."

The rapper then also stated that he will keep on making quality music and delivering it to his fans as soon as possible. "I want to focus on the positive, and I feel I'm one of the more vocal people in hip-hop. Even when it's not about music, people pay attention to me, because I have something to offer. I'll continue to create quality music at a pace they haven't seen."

On his upcoming studio record, the rapper reportedly is teaming up with renown musicians and producers. Some of the names that have been tapped by 50 to produce tracks on his new LP are Timbaland, Swizz Beatz and Rich Harrison.

im not go hate on lil waynes album the carter 3 i just think it could be better. he had us waiting forever for the album and now that its finally released it wasnt what i expected but i will give him props. but to say hes the best rapper alive i dont think so hes repeating some stuff on this album that be already said. lil wayne marketed his album very well he hit the mixtape industry hard. i didnt care for all the mixtapes but that was smart on his behalf who wouldnt sell a million in a week after doing that. we all know he never put up those numbers. but like i said im not hating just stating facts. congrads! on your million in a week lil wayne.
