Chris Brown Has Something to Prove on New Single, Swizz Beatz Says
September 17, 2009 10:09:59Chris Brown indeed will make a duet with Lil Wayne on new single titled "Transformer", singer/producer Swizz Beatz confirmed. The song is promised to be brought to surface sometime soon with its accompanying music video going into production later on.
"He's got something to prove," Swizz told MTV about what to expect from Chris on the new track. "He worked on 60, 70 songs. He's just on fire. I told him, 'Listen, man, just stay focused on your music. They gonna throw shots at you. Time heals everything'."
Maino Debuts 'Million Bucks' Music Video Feat. Swizz Beatz
July 10, 2009 10:07:21Maino appears alongside his collaborator Swizz Beatz in a music video for his single titled "Million Bucks". After being captured rapping in a moving car loaded with white-masked guys and bags full of cash, Maino is seen throwing off the money to those attending his party.
Beside having Swizz as a cameo, the video also features appearances from Red Cafe, Lil' Mama, Uncle Murda and Grafh. The video is directed by Edwin Decena and filmed in Brooklyn, New York.
Swizz Beatz Not Submitting 'Stan Part 2' for Eminem's 'Relapse'
December 26, 2008 11:12:23Swizz Beatz steps up saying that the song, he has submitted to Eminem for the Detroit rapper's upcoming album "Relapse", is not "Stan Part 2". He says, "That's not the title of the song."
Swizz, furthermore, claims that there isn't such song for the album. He clarifies, "That's what I said the song felt like. We didn't sit down and agree that this was the title ... I'm not in the studio [with him] ... Everything that we're doing is over Pro-Tools."
Swizz Beatz Submits Five Songs for Eminem's 'Relapse'
November 26, 2008 09:11:15During an interview at one of the fundraiser events in the Big Apple, Swizz Beatz revealed that he has submitted five songs to Eminem for his sixth major studio album "Relapse". Noting that one of them is a track which features 50 Cent and Dr. Dre, Swizz refused to share further. "I don't know the title yet, but it's classic. It's sounding big," he told MTV.
However, in a further statement, Swizz managed to give a peek at another song that he worked on. "You know how 'Stan' ... was the big [song]?" he asked, referring to Dido-featuring single from Eminem's 2000 "The Marshall Mathers LP". "So I worked on part 2, and I think it was, like, totally genius."

The video was exclusively premiered by 50 Cent's website Thisis50.com and it looks like that it will have a sequel. The scenes on the clip focuses on Swizz, where he was seen rapping at some different backgrounds, such as at a club, in a car and at his house.

Beside preparing to release his new single, Swizz is also working on a second album. He hasn't set a release date for the new joint yet and at the moment is still thinking about the title for it. On contrary to the more melancholic Spanish album "Como Ama Una Mujer" (2007), J. Lo wants this one to have the danceable tune. Kelly Rowland has been working on her sophomore album since 2005, yet the talked about album did not hit the stores the following year. Two title changes and three altered release dates after, Rowland's album is finally set for official release on June 26.
The album actually was meant to be out on July 11, 2006, yet according to the artist's manager, Matthew Knowles, a longer period is needed to prepare the project. "We want to make sure our marketing strategy is a multi-tiered approach that capitalizes on the synergies afforded by her other projects." The album was also initially titled "My Story: Kelly Rowland", but was eventually changed to "Ms. Kelly" (2007).
