Local residents in Sand Diego, California were complaining to the police who immediately went down to the venue and alert the group to shut it down.

AceShowbiz - The noise level at a Black Eyed Peas concert was too high that police officers were forced to cut it short. The law enforcer received complaints from local residents in San Diego, California when the R'n'B group performed outdoor on Monday night, December 10.

The residents whose range reach as far as two miles away, sent the police down to the venue when the 11.15 P.M. curfew was ignored. Upon receiving the news, singer Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie calmly told the crowd that they would have to end the show earlier than scheduled.

The concert was conducted in line with the opening of Hard Rock Hotel in the area. A representative for the hotel described the incident that night saying, "Fergie said they would close the show with 'Where Is the Love?' She said it was for our friends - the police - in the lobby."

Before leaving, the band officially opened the hotel where one of its rooms, called Peas suite, was designed by them. Proceeds from the use of the room will be donated to the band's charity organization, Peapod Foundation.
