A new big screen project is on its way to be developed by writer-director Rian Johnson. The indie filmmaker has revealed to CHUD.com through an interview that the feature is entitled "The Brothers Bloom" and tells about two guys who grow in and out of foster homes during their childhood while learning to survive by becoming con men.
While either cast or crew has not yet been unveiled, Johnson is eyeing the beginning of 2007 to start the film's production with aim to release it around 2008.
With this statement, "The Brothers Bloom" then will be the third movie coming out from Johnson. The man previously has made "Evil Demon Golfball from Hell!!!" (1996) and "Brick" (2005) of which scripts he also penned. His other stints include being a camera operator in "The Room" (1998) and an editor in "May" (2002).
