Missy Elliott to star her own biopic movie
After two big male rappers, 50 Cent and Eminem, gave a shot on the big screen, it is now the time for female rappers to join the club. Missy Elliott is ready to broaden her enormous talents, in the music business and on the silver screen, after her previous in "Shark Tale" and one in "Honey" with the "Good Luck Chuck"'s star, Jessica Alba.
Following 50 Cent's debut in "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" and Eminem's in "8 Mile", Miss Misdemeanor is setting up for another biopic, Missy as herself in her own life-story-based movie.
In this untitled project, Robert De Niro gives Missy a hand as the producer, together with Jane Rosenthal from Tribeca Films and her manager, Mona Scott. While Universal Picture has "Take the Lead"'s script writer, Dianne Houston, ready to bring the Missy's next- movie project under construction.
