AceShowbiz - In response to the tabloid reports which mentioned that he had a breakdown while filming a scene related to the death of Johnny Cash's older brother named Jack in "Walk the Line," Joaquin Phoenix firmly denied all the tidings, saying to Newsweek magazine that he was acting, and definitely was not flipping out.
Portraying Cash, the actor remarked that he only tried to get into his character's emotional state when banged his head on a bedpost during a scene in which Cash is going through drug withdrawal.
