Nabbing seven awards all at once, the highly anticipated movie won the categories of Choice Movie, Action Adventure; Choice Movie Actor, Drama/Action Adventure for Johnny Depp; Choice Rumble; Choice Drama / Action: Adventure Movie of the Summer; Choice Sleazebag for Bill Nighy; Choice Hissy Fit and also Choice Scream which both were given to Keira Knightley.

Among the Winners at the 10th Annual Prism Awards
May 02, 2006 10:05:31"Walk the Line", the Johnny Cash biopic, nabs the top honor at the 10th annual Prism Awards held Thursday April 29th, 2006 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The drama movie wins an award for the category of Feature Film Wide Release, thanks to its accurate portrayals of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and addiction within entertainment programming.
Some other winners include Kelly Rowan from "The O.C." who brings home the honor for Performance in a Drama Series Episode for Television category and Lori Loughlin who gets the Performance in a Drama Multi-Episode Storyline for Television honor for her portrayal in "Summerland".

The Top 5 Movies in UK Box Office

It among others lassoes the prizes for the category of Best Film, Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Jake Gyllenhaal, Adapted Screenplay for Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana, and The David Lean Award for Achievement in Direction for Ang Lee.
Chosen Best British Film is "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit", while Philip Seymour Hoffman nabs the Best Actor in a Leading Role award thanks to his portrayal in "Capote." Brought home the Best Actress in a Leading Role award is Reese Witherspoon for "Walk the Line" and chosen as Best Actress in a Supporting Role is Thandie Newton for "Crash." February 13, 2006 03:02:33"Walk the Line" adding more awards to its pocket as the film won for Production Design on a contemporary film at the 10th annual Art Directors Guild Awards (DGA) held Saturday Feb 11, 2006 in Beverly Hills, Calif. The prize was given to the film's production designer David J. Bomba.
At the same event, "Memoirs of a Geisha" also picked the same award mainly for period or fantasy film, which was given to production designer John Myhre. Meanwhile, production designer John Mansbridge was honored for lifetime achievement.

Phoenix & Witherspoon Duet for Johnny Cash
October 04, 2005 11:10:59Singing is something new for actors Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. Though, both movie stars will do their best, singing for the soundtrack to the Johnny Cash biopic "Walk the Line," which is due in store November 15, three days before the movie opens in theaters.
Phoenix and Witherspoon, besides their duet on "It Ain't Me Babe" and "Jackson," have also recorded some of Cash songs separately. Phoenix recoded the like of "Ring of Fire," "I Walk the Line" and "Folsom Prison Blues," while Witherspoon performs solo renditions of "Wildwood Flower" and "Juke Box Blues."
